For Earth Day we celebrated the installation of four new mushroom lanterns at The Fremont Troll Knoll. The lanterns were made in collaboration with Haiying Wu and myself. Leo Griffin was a key figure in getting this done, helping in all logistics and securing $10,000 in funds from The City of Seattle. Daniel Tadesse helped our team install the heavy mushrooms into the park. The mushroom lanterns were commissioned to to be companion pieces to the mushroom walk that was recently installed by Salish Sea Mushroom.
